QUETTA - Seven people were killed in separate incidents of firing which took place in different towns of Balochistan on Wednesday. As per reports, unidentified people armed with sophisticated weapons opened indiscriminate fire on a group of people in Sangsilla area of Dera Bugt. As a result of intense firing, two people identified as Khan Muhammad and Hakim Ali Bugti received multiple bullet-wounds and succumbed to their injuries. In another similar incident, three unknown armed men sprayed volley of bullets on a person identified as Surat Khan in Dera Murad Jamali and escaped the scene after committing the crime. Resultantly, he received severe bullet-wounds and died instantly. Similarly, a person was killed in Kalat town of Balochistan when two armed attackers opened indiscriminate fire on him and killed him. Police has arrested two accused persons in connection with the killing of Muhammad Azam. In separate incidents, three more people including two personnel of the Cost Guards were shot dead in Pasni and Quetta towns of Balochistan, apparently in incidents of target killing. According to police sources, unidentified armed people opened indiscriminate firing on two personnel of the Coast Guards who were heading towards Jabal Zari check post some 12 kilometres away from Pasni the costal town of Mekran Division. As a result, they sustained serious wounds and succumbed to their injuries. According to independent sources, the personnel of Cost Guards had arrested five people in connection with the killing of two personnel. In another incident, unidentified armed people opened firing on a person identified as Muhammad Faseh and fled the scene. Resultantly, he received critical wounds and died before reaching hospital. No group has accepted responsibility for attacks in Pasni and Quetta.
