LAHORE:-Pakistan has been fined for maintaining a slow over-rate in the third and final ODI in Auckland Sunday. David Boon of the Elite Panel of ICC Match Referees imposed the fine after Azhar Ali’s side was ruled to be one over short of its target when time allowances were taken into consideration. Pakistan players are fined 10 per cent of their match fees with the captain fined 20 per cent of his match fee. If Pakistan commit another minor over-rate breach within 12 months with Azhar as captain, Azhar will face a suspension.–Staff Reporter
