Islamabad-Islamabad police on Wednesday recovered dead bodies of a man and woman from a guest house in sector F-10/4 in the limits of Shalimar police station.

According to the initial reports, no blood relation could be ascertained between the two deceased; Dr. Rana Aaftab and Ms Zubaida. Deceased Aftab Ahmed Rana was a retired major of Pak Army and the lady was reported to be a nurse at a private hospital in the capital. The police opened the door on the behest of the guest house management and found the two dead bodies lying on the bed. The police said that Aftab Rana, a resident of sector E-11/2 was an eye specialist. He was also a member of the Islamabad Club. According to police, the cause of death seems to be alcohol and drug overdose. Both dead bodies were dispatched to the hospital for autopsy.

Furthermore, Islamabad police have arrested 19 outlaws including six proclaimed offenders and recovered weapons, heroin and wine from their possession, a police spokesman said.

He said that noon police arrested three accused Khizar Abbas, Sajjad Shahid and Khan Zaib and recovered three 30-bore pistols along with ammunition from their possession. Karachi Company police arrested two gamblers Shaukat Munir and Safeer Hussain red handed besides recovering stake money Rs.1390, computer, LED, and gambling tools from them. CIA police arrested a drug-pusher Alamgheer khan and recovered 200 gram heroin.

Shalimar police arrested two bootleggers Azam and Umer Gul and recovered 20 wine bottles from their possession. Khanna police arrested Mushtaq involved in fraudulent activities. Nilore Police arrested a drug-pusher Intazar Hussain and recovered 120 gram heroine from him. Police have registered cases against these persons and further investigation is underway. Islamabad police also arrested six proclaimed offenders wanted to police for their involvement in various crimes.
