ISLAMABAD (APP) - Omani Ambassador to Pakistan Muhammad Saeed Muhammad Al-Lawati called on Minister for Labour and Manpower Syed Khursheed Ahmad Shah and during the meeting both the leaders discussed means of cooperation and promotion in the field of manpower and exchange of expertise between Pakistan and Oman in technical & technological disciplines. The Minister apprised the Omani Ambassador on the infrastructure and the training programme for training of Omani workers, says a press release here on Monday. He said that Pakistan will be providing skilled and highly qualified professionals like doctors, nurses, paramedics, engineers, IT specialists. Around 4000 training institutions are readily providing training to workers from Pakistan and abroad, in lines with international standards. Syed Khurshed expressed his gratitude over the hospitality extended by the Omani officials on his visit to Oman last week. He is hopeful about the positive outcome from the visit and looking forward to the cooperation between the two countries in the field of manpower.
