ISLAMABAD (APP) - Leader of Pakistan Muslim League (Q) Ch Shujaat Hussain telephoned Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani Thursday and extended full support of his party to convene the All Parties Conference to discuss the prevailing national political and security situation in the country. The former Prime Minister in his telephone call sought time for a meeting, along with his delegation, to discuss issues relating to Balochistan, the prevailing political and particularly the law and order situation in parts of the country. Ch Shujaat said he had already floated the idea of holding an APC to discuss the serious challenges the country was facing at the earliest. Earlier, three ministers belonging to Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam; Minister for Housing and Works Rehmatullah Kakar, Science and Technology Azam Khan Swati, Tourism Maulana Attaur Rehman also called on the Prime Minister and extended their full support to the convening of the All Parties Conference. Prime Minister Gilani said he wass a staunch believer in taking all the political parties along to address the serious challenges confronting the country and the APC would be convened soon to adopt a national strategy.
