ISLAMABAD - Afghanistan has released 25 Pakistani citizens arrested for their alleged involvement in the recently carried out Kandahar bomb blast. The Pakistanis who were held by Afghan law enforcement agencies were working in a Japanese company operating in Afghan province of Kandahar, erstwhile stronghold of Taliban in Afghanistan. An official here said that Afghan government had released the Pakistani citizens who were arrested in the wake of horrendous act of terror in Kandahar in which a couple of Pakistani nationals were also killed. According to the official, the Afghan government has cleared the Pakistani citizens and no case has been registered against them.
