ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif today chaired an important meeting at the Prime Minister's House in Islamabad.

In his opening speech, Sharif said that it was remarkable how the country's political leadership had gathered for the meeting in Peshawar on Dec 17, despite witnessing a horrific incident on December 16.

“The time has come for a final decision. I am hopeful that this bill should be presented before the Parliament. There is no room for further debate on the National Action Plan,” Nawaz said, urging political leaders to sum up the draft for the amendment in the Constitution.

PM Nawaz Sharif addressing an All Parties Conference at the PM House in Islamabad said that all political parties had played a major role in preparation of the National Action Plan for countering terrorism in the country.

He said military courts will only be functional in the country for two years.
