PESHAWAR – Federal Minister for Railways Ghulam Ahmad Bilour said Sunday elections could be delayed in the present political scenario and a confederation of Pakistan, India, Bangladesh and Afghanistan should be formed, reported a private TV channel.

Speaking to mediamen after addressing a ceremony here, he said country was facing terrorism and law and order issues that could delay general elections. Bilour also suggested a confederation of neighbouring countries including Pakistan, India, Bangladesh and Afghanistan. He said this confederation would make sure free movement of people across the borders and facilitate trade.

He was of the view that present regime should be given chance to complete its tenure and if it could not happen no government in future would complete its mandated term.
