MIRPUR (AJK) - The entire AJK will soon be echoed with PML-N-sponsored popular demand for 'Go Zardari Go to rid the country of the corrupt regime, declared Shah Ghulam Qadir, PML-N AJK Central Secretary Organiser. He was addressing a press conference here during his day-long visit to the city the other day. Qadir was flanked by PML-N Mirpur District Organizer and former FPCCI President Ch Muhammad Saeed, Raja Naveed Akhter Goga, Khadim Hussain and other local party activists. He said that his party would spare no effort to rid Pakistan of President Asif Zardari because of, what he called, the massive corruption and malpractices which had undermined the national interest. The PML-N leader said that the President and his government had assured the MFN status to India without taking the people of Jammu & Kashmir into confidence. We vehemently condemn this act of the incumbent PPP-led coalition regime, Shah Ghulam Qadir said. Lashing out at the ruling clique at the Centre, the PML-N maintained that the PPP government could not unearth and nab the killers of their leader shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto. He revealed that in appreciation and acknowledgement of such a high performance of the PPP-led coalition regime, the PML-N had decided to send the special eid gift of bangles to the PPPs leadership, especially President Zardari, Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani and Interior Minister Rehman Malik. He bitterly criticized MQM Chief Altaf Hussain for, what he called, using filthy language against the PML-N chief. We strongly condemn the derogatory remarks and mud slinging by Altaf Hussain against Nawaz Sharif, the PML-N leader said, adding that since the MQM bagged few hundreds of votes in the recent AJK Assembly elections, the people of Kashmir would not allow the MQM leader, having a tiny vote bank in AJK, to air filthy remarks against the PML-N leadership. Shah ghulam Qadir alleged that Zardari house has badly hurt the centuries old identity of the state of Jammu & Kashmir through inducting Ch Majeed as the AJK Prime Minister without taking care of the feelings and consent of the house. The PML-N leader declared that the departure of, what he called, forcibly-thrust incumbent PPP regime in AJK will be ensured simultaneously with the departure of President Zardari and his party from the power. The PML-N leader accused the AJK rulers of discouraging the AJK Legislative Assembly to meet to discuss various current issues, especially those related to Kashmir issue and the freedom struggle. He pointed out that in spite of the requisition filed by all 12 parliamentarians of PML-N, the session of AJK Assembly was not being summoned deliberately following the bottle necks created by the treasury benches. Qadir said that his party would soon devise future course of action in this direction to frustrate similar future ulterior designs of the AJK rulers. Shah Ghulam Qadir strongly condemned the recent assault on the AJK HC CJ Justice Ghulam Musatafa Mughal and demanded high level probe to bring the accused of the gruesome attack to justice.
