LAHORE At least six people including a retired Army Major and his father were killed over different disputes in separate incidents here in the City on Tuesday. Police investigators said a 50-year-old Major (r) Shahid Javed and his father Mansha Hussain (80) were found slaughtered from a farm house located in Barki Police area. These decomposed bodies are two or three days old, SHO Barki Inspector Chaudhary Azam Manhais told this reporter. He said the bereaved family suspected a house servant Ghulam Mustafa had killed them as he along with his family went missing since the untoward incident took place. Giving details, Manhais said three persons two deceased and one Shahids sister had been living at this form-house comprising 16 canal piece of land located in Theatre Village for the last 11 years. He, however, suspected all the evidences collected from the crime scene showed Gulam Mustafa was the main culprit. The police investigators, however, are awaiting an autopsy report to ascertain the reason behind this gruesome incident. Later, the bodies were handed over to the deceased family after the police completed necessary medico-legal formalities. Further investigations were underway with no arrest till filing of this report. Earlier, two persons linked to Ehsan Group were gunned down by accused associated to Saleem Zaidi Group over property dispute in Sabzazaar area. The deceased were identified as Malik Shahbaz (28) and Malik Irfan (22) whereas around seven persons namely Irfan, Arshad, Safdar, Zaffar, Iqbal and Ayesha, Siddique sustained multiple bullet injuries. Malik Ehsan, a resident of Awan Town, had been running a property dispute with Saleem Zaidi since long. Around 10:00am, few persons of Saleems group arrived on Haidary Food Shop where Ehsans accomplices were already taking breakfast, a senior police investigator said, adding Saleems accomplices returned back. He said after few minutes they again appeared on the scene equipped with sophisticated firearms and opened indiscriminate fires on them. He further said before the Ehsans led group retaliates volley of bullets had pierced into the bodies of some nine persons. Resultantly, two persons Malik Shahbaz of Samanabad and Malik Irfan of Shadbagh died on the spot whereas the injured were shifted to a nearby hospital. Police have arrested two accused after lodging an FIR against them. Police investigators have confirmed the deceased and the killers were rivals of each other for the last several years and several FIRs were traced against them including in Hanjerwal, Sabzazaar and Iqbal Town. Further investigations are underway. Meanwhile, a 65-year-old security guard Muhammad Hussain was gunned down allegedly by his company supervisor Abdul Razaq in Factory Area. Police concerned believed the deceased, father of four and a resident of Vehari, demanded his salary, which infuriated to Abdul Razaq. They, however, said that Muhammad Hussain had resigned from the company and joined the other one. On Tuesday, he demanded his remaining salary on which Razaq started taunting and later opened fire, which claimed Hussains life. An eyewitness said that after killing his ex-employee the killer tried to flee but the locals captured and later handed him over to the police concerned. An FIR has been lodged against the accused. Later, a 25-year-old unidentified youth was found tortured to death by unknown person (s) in Nishtar Colony police area on Tuesday. An eyewitness, however, claimed the deceased, yet to be identified, was breathing his last when locals witnessed him near Chaudhary Chowk. Police sources said visible marks on his body showed the deceased was tortured by his rivals over any dispute. After recovering the body, police shifted it to the City morgue for autopsy.
