LAHORE Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman Zaka Ashraf intended to have three separate coaches for the Pakistan cricket team for all the major departments of the game. Talking to media here at National Cricket Stadium on Tuesday, Ashraf said: There should be separate batting, bowling and fielding coaches to help improve the technique of our players. Only that person will be selected who have capability of being Pakistan team coach either foreign or local. He said that President of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari had nominated him as a PCB chairman for three years as earlier his notification was for indefinite period. Ahraf said that honest workers would be remained the part of the PCB while dishonest will loose their jobs. I have noticed some of the cricket board officials are getting big amounts and in return, they are paying nothing to the PCB. Such people will not be borne and will be terminated as only that official will stay here who will perform their duty honestly, he warned. Ashraf further said that the cricket board would try its best to bring international cricket back soon. Zaka Ashraf announced to pay Eid bonus to low-level staffers as he has earlier implemented bonus system in ZTBL. Though bringing international cricket back is a tough task for us, yet we will try hard to invite international teams here either national or A team of any country, he said and added: I will meet ICC officials for granting us international events in FTP. I will also meet Pakistan players to encourage them and witness third Test. He further said that he did not meet Afridi yet and he could meet him whenever he wanted to meet. I am always available for any cricketer wants to meet me and discuss about his matters regarding cricket boost. I listen all of their matters and consultant cricket experts will finally decide about them which will be purely for the benefit of Pakistan cricket, he concluded. Ch Zaka congratulated and praised the performance Hong Kong Super Sixes Tournament title winners, in a reception hosted in their honour at National Cricket Academy. Ashraf announced cash awards of Rs 200,000 for every player and also announced additional Rs 100,000 award to player of the tournament Umar Akmal. It was very important victory of our team and I wanted to motivate the players by giving them cash awards as they won the title for Pakistan after nine years, Ashraf concluded.
