SAHIWAL-The muggers deprived citizens of cash, bikes, vehicles and other valuables in three robbery incidents occurred in different areas the other day.

According to police, robbers looted a motorcycle, van, buffalos and Rs0.7 million from a cattle trader in Chak 94-9L the other night.

According to police, trader Muhammad Zafar Iqbal was asleep in his cattle-pen with his relatives including two brothers in Chak 94-9L. Late in the night, six robbers stormed the premises and locked all of them in a room. The robbers loaded all the cattle heads onto a truck and fled away.

In another incident, two robbers snatched a motorcycle and Rs25,800 from an employee of the High Security Jail near Elementary College. Muhammad Imran was on the way back home in Kot Allah Din after his duty when met the incident.

On the other hand, a businessman Haq Nawaz was going in a pick-up van to his village Chak 47-15L to buy cattle from mandi on Okan Wala Road. As he reach near Chak 70-12L, five robbers intercepted him and snatched Rs355,000 and the van from him.

The Yousafwala, Farid Town and Okan Wala police have registered separate cases without any clue or arrest.
