LAHORE - The Punjab Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) has approved two development schemes of various sectors with an estimated cost of Rs5383.507 million.

The schemes were approved in the 26th meeting of (PDWP) of current fiscal year 2016-17 presided over by the Punjab Chairman P&D Board Muhammad Jahanzeb Khan.

According to P&D spokesman, the approved development schemes included Promotion of High Value Agriculture through Provision of Climate Smart Technology Package at the cost of Rs4884.13 million and widening/improvement of road from Heera Adda to Ghalloo More Ladhana and Pir Jaggi Sharif at the cost of Rs 499.377 million.

P&D Secretary Iftikhar Ali Sahoo, all members of the P&D board, provincial secretaries concerned and other senior representatives of the relevant departments also attended the meeting.
