ISLAMABAD: Supreme Court (SC) on Wednesday sought details over the revelations made regarding appointment  of court-martialled officer as Director General in National Accountability Bureau (NAB).

During the hearing, Chief Justice said that many court-martialled officers had been appointed on different key posts in the past.

Justice Amir Muslim Hani remarked that the authorities didn’t provide complete profile data of the officials as details regarding court-martial of Hussain Ahmed was kept hidden.

He said NAB has also not submitted information regarding contracts of the employees.

Court-martialled officer cannot get government job, Justice Hani added.

Subsequently, the court adjourned the hearing for two weeks by directing the concerned department to present complete details of the appointed officials.
