CHAKWAL - The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz MNA Captain (reired) Muhammad Safdar said on Wednesday that accountability of the Sharif family was aimed at stopping country’s progress.

Nawaz Sharif and his whole family would face the courts, and Nawaz Sharif would reach Pakistan on November 2nd to appear in the accountability court on November 3rd in Islamabad, he said.

Safdar was talking to the media after offering fateha at the death of MPA Chaudhry Liaqat Ali Khan.

Captain Safdar offered condolence with Haider Sultan and Shaharyar, the sons of the deceased MPA.

Former district nazim Sardar Ghulam Abbas, Sardar Aftab Akbar, Chairman District Council Jhelum Raja Qasim Khan, Justice (retired) Mazhar Minhas, Municipal Committee Chakwal Chairman Chaudhry Sajjad Ahmed and others were present on the occasion.

Safdar said that Chaudhry Liaqat Ali Khan was a committed worker and his death was a shear loss not only to his family but also of the PML-N.

He said that Chaudhry Liaqat stood firm with the PML-N at the time of Gen Parvez Musharraf when most of the close aides had left the party.

Safdar responding to a question said that democracy and civil rule was the future of Pakistan and 220 million people of Pakistan would stand firm for strengthening of democracy in the country.
