LAHORE: Fashion scene is active as autumn has set in and winter is around the corner. The fashion shows and showbiz events have increased.  Sable Vogue’s trunk show by Zarmina Zahid featuring pret, luxury prêt and wedding wear kicked off on Thursday at Nishat Hotel.  

The star studded event was attended by who’s who of fashion industry, socialites, media personalities and people from all walks of life.

Inspired by the beauty of nature the collection was a mixture of eastern and western cuts with floral pattern.

The Sable Vogue design house uses only pure fabrics, cut and draped in a range of silhouettes creating versatile looks across all their fashion lines. Indeed the acclaimed house of fashion engages only the finest craftsmen, hailing from generations of artisans practicing time-honored craftsmanship and embroideries.

Talking to The Nation designer Zarmina Zahid said, “I have worked as a freelance designer for many fashion houses in Paris. The collection I have exhibited is affordable and wearable on every occasion. The embroideries have a blend of precious, semi-precious stones and crystals amalgamated with needle and thread work.

“Our designers have cultured their tastes to a mixture of east and west, and have a deep understanding of the psyche of the international fashion world and so it reflects in their collection of bold cuts and impeccable colour combinations,” she said.
