QUETTA - Three people, including a policeman, were killed and another wounded in separate incidents of firing in different towns of Balochistan on Saturday.

According to sources, unidentified armed men riding a motorbike opened indiscriminate fire on policemen in Chatkan bazaar in Panjgur district. As a result, one policeman identified as Shafiq was killed and another policeman Tahir received injuries.

The assailants fled the scene after committing the crime. However, the motive behind the killing could not be ascertained.

In another incident, armed men killed a person in Tump area of Turbat by opening fire at him with sophisticated weapons.

The deceased was identified as Abdul Razzaq.

Moreover, unknown armed assailants opened fire in Gandawa area of Jhal Magsi, killing one Abdul Haleem.
