ISLAMABAD - Prime Minister Raja Pervaiz Ashraf has directed the Balochistan government to implement the orders of the Supreme Court regarding the issues concerning the province.

Balochistan Chief Secretary Babar Yaqoob Fateh Muhammad called on Prime Minister Raja Pervaiz Ashraf at Prime Minister’s House to take stock of the situation in Balochistan with special reference to the law and order situation in the province.

According to an official statement issued on Saturday, the Balochistan Chief Secretary briefed the prime minister on the prevailing law and order situation.

The chief secretary apprised the prime minister in detail about the situation and the steps being taken by the provincial government to improve it. The prime minister directed the chief secretary to take all possible steps to normalise the intense situation of the province for the betterment of the people of Balochistan.

The prime minister said that the federal government would extend all possible assistance to the Balochistan government to improve law and order situation in Balochistan. He directed the chief secretary to take all possible measures for further improving the situation so that people can feel the difference in their daily lives.The prime minister also directed the chief secretary to implement the orders of the Supreme Court in letter and spirit.
