Google doodle today celebrated the birthday of the famous pop singer Nazia Hassan on her 53rd birthday anniversary.

Like Always, keeping up the tradition Google changed its doodle to honour the late Pakistani pop singer.

Nazia Hassan was a Pakistani pop singer-songwriter, lawyer and social activist.

she started her music career at the age of 10 and became one of the most prominent singers in Pakistan.

She enjoyed widespread popularity across South and Southeast Asia and has been termed as the "Queen of Pop" in South Asia.

She, along with her brother Zoheb Hassan, went on to sell over 65 million records worldwide.

Aap jaisa koi, Disco Deewane , Boom Boom and Taali de tallay were among the many popular hits by Nazia Hassan .

She died at the age of 35 due to lung cancer in London on 13 August 2000.
