ISLAMABAD (APP) - The 15th National Assembly session would be held at the Parliament House on Monday (today). The session would commence at 4 pm with Deputy Speaker National Assembly Faisal Karim Kundi likely to chair as Speaker National Assembly Dr Fehmida Mirza is on a visit abroad. The session is likely to discuss the most debated judgement of the Supreme Court on the judges case. Moreover, the lover house of the parliament may also discuss the general law and order situation across the country specially the ongoing operation Rah-e-Rast in Swat, Malakand and Rah-e-Nijat Operation in Waziristan. The members from the minorities may discuss the recent incident of Gojra, where half a dozen precious lives were targeted in a conflict between two local groups. Moreover, the PML-N legislators would also initiate a debate over the repeal of 17th Amendment from the Constitution while PML-N sources informed APP that they would also table a motion in the Assembly urging the government to register a treason case against former President Gen. (r) Pervez Musharraf under Article 6 of the Constitution.
