LAHORE: Lahore Development Authority (LDA) Director Muhammad Akram retired from his office after attaining the age of superannuation.

The officer was serving as Director (Town Planning) and he relinquished charge of his office this week, said the sources in LDA here on Wednesday. The LDA also sanctioned his request for encashment of salary in lieu of 365 days Leave Preparatory Retirement (LPR).–APP


LAHORE: Rasm-e-Qul of Mian Shaukat Ali will be offered today at 9:30am at 68A-Abu Bakr Block, Garden Town. He passed away yesterday. He was father of Mian Shujat Ali and Mian Shafqat Ali, former LCCI President and former PIAF chairman, respectively.
