WASHINGTON:-  The United States has welcomed the meeting between Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi in Paris. "We always welcome these kinds of exchanges and dialogue between India and Pakistan," State Department Deputy Spokesman Mark Toner said when asked for US' reaction. "A constructive relationship between the two countries is not only good for them but also for the stability of the region," he said. Pakistani officials described the brief interaction between the two leaders as "good".–Special Correspondent
