LAHORE - The Jamatud Dawa will hold rallies across the country on February 5 (Thursday) to express solidarity with the people of Kashmir, who have been struggling for decades to get their right to self-determination under the UN resolutions.

According to a statement issued by JuD chief Hafiz Saeed on Monday, APHC leadership would also participate in the rallies.

In Lahore, he said, a rally would emanate from the Nasser Bagh and end at the Lahore High Court crossing.

The JuD chief lauded the sacrifices of the Kashmiri people and said it was because of them that voices in support of the Kashmir issue were being raised in the entire world.

He called upon India to bring an end to the atrocities in Kashmir. He said as long as Indian troops were present in occupied Kashmir, peace in south Asia would not be possible.
