LAHORE – The relatives to the four teenaged boys, kidnapped on personal grudge, on Monday staged a massive protest against the City Police Division for not recovering the kidnapped boys.

Four boys including Hassan Mushtaq (18), Rizwan (14), Usman (17) and a 16-year-old Jameel, residents of Qaddafi Colony, were kidnapped on second day of Eidul Azha in Badami Bagh police limits. The heirs and neighbors of the kidnapped boys protested on Ring Road and burnt tyres blocking traffic on both sides of road. “Police investigators have connections with the kidnapers to they are not investigating the matter intentionally,” they alleged.

One Amanat told the media men that he received a phone call of his missing son a week ago who informed that they were being tortured by the kidnappers.

“I provided details of the phone call to police but police failed to trace anybody yet,” he said. He said his neighbors knew the accused persons wanted in double murder were pressuring him not to pursue the case and otherwise he would be killed.

On the other side, police concerned said one Muhammad Aslam, father of three accused, was in their custody. They said main accused Liaquat alias Lalu and Rawash were already in Kot Lakhpat and Camp Jails respectively.

Meanwhile, the relatives of a girl kidnapped from Kasur also staged a protest demonstration outside the Punjab Assembly against police for not recovering the girl. 

Valuables reduced to ashes: Valuables worth of hundred of thousands of rupees were reduced to ashes in separate fire eruption incident here in the City on Monday.

A rescuer said fire broke out in PEPSI factory on Guru Mangat Road and in a house in Lohari area. The fire fighters extinguished fire after hectic efforts. Two factory staffers were also reported to have sustained minor burn injuries and were administered medical first aid on the spot. The affected persons were identified as Muhammad Aslam and Khurram.
