SARGODHA - Police have registered a case against Difa-e-Pakistan Council leaders over the charges of delivering provocative and objectionable speeches during Difa-e-Pakistan Conference at Eidgah Ground Sargodha two days ago.

The Urban Area police lodged an FIR against over one dozen leaders including Muhammad Ahmed Ludhianwi, the head of Ahl-e-Sunnat-Wal Jamaat Pakistan, Muavia Azam Tariq, Akram Abid, Yaqoob Sheikh, Islamuddin Usmani and others. According to sources, the FIR includes Anti Terrorism Act and other Sections of the Pakistan Penal Code.

SECTION 144: To ensure safety and protection of human life and national property, the district administrator has imposed Section 144 to prohibit pigeon flying, aerial firing, establishment of filth depots and domestic, natural food resources in the areas adjacent to landing sites of PAF Base Mushaf Sargodha for safe landing of Aircrafts.

The area comprises Chak 48/NB, 78/NB, 86/NB, Liaqat Colony and Istaqlalabad Colony. The order shall remain operative for seven days.
