SWEDEN’S Eurovision entry ‘Euphoria’ by Loreen has topped the Irish singles chart.

The winning track vaulted to the top of the chart after last Saturday’s (May 26) show, pushing Ireland’s official Euro 2012 football anthem ‘The Rocky Road to Poland’ down to two fun’s ‘We Are Young’ is at three, Marina and the Diamonds slips to four with ‘Primadonna’ and Maroon 5 remain at five with ‘Payphone’.

Jedward’s Eurovision entry for Ireland, ‘Waterline’, moves up to seven, while Flo Rida’s latest single ‘Whistle’ enters at eight.

Coldplay and Rihanna’s ‘Princess of China’ moves up to 15, Kylie Minogue’s ‘Timebomb’ debuts at 26 and Justin Bieber’s Believe album track ‘Die in Your Arms’ is at 28.

Outside the Top 40, fun.’s new single ‘Some Nights’ begins to climb at 45, Lawson trail at 46 with ‘When She Was MIne’, and Gary Barlow’s Diamond Jubilee single ‘Sing’ is at 53.                                     –DS
