QUETTA - Unidentified assailants gunned down son of JUI-F district Amir and former provincial Minister Maulana Attaullah Baloch, in Quetta on Friday. According to the SP Saddar Malik Arshad, armed men riding a motorcycle opened indiscriminate firing at the vehicle of JUI-F son Hafiz Imdadullah on Spinny Road killing him on the spot.  The victim was moved to hospital for autopsy by police. ‘The car of Imdadullah was stopped at Spinny Road where a rally was passing by when armed men riding a motorcycle opened firing on him’, SP Malik Arshad said,adding, that police had arrested the two accused who were involved in the killing.  He said they have recovered two TT pistols from them as well. Mulana Attaullah Baloch, the father of the victim said they had come for funeral prayers in Mano Jan Road Quetta from Mangochar and were on way to Kahrotabad where they were stopped by police on Spinny Road. ‘The two people from a rally opened fire on us’, he added. Talking to media at the hospital DIG Operation Qazi Wahid said that the persons  who were involved in killing of Imdadullah would soon be brought to justice. A large number of workers of JUI-F who reached the hospital after being informed about the incident strongly condemned the killing of Imdadullah, demanding strong action against the culprits.
