ISLAMABAD – Chairman Steering Committee PML-Likeminded, Salim Saifullah Khan has said that his party would strongly oppose the reference regarding the creation of two provinces in Punjab, if the President of Pakistan would not set up commission for the creation of Hazara Province.

In a press statement issued here on Saturday, he urged that President Asif Ali Zardari should sent reference to Speaker NA to form Commission on Hazara province like Janoobe Punjab and Bahawalpur provinces, adding this is the voice of the people of Hazara.

He also highlighted that Chaudhary Shujat had once mentioned that he had signed an agreement with Zardari regarding the formation of provinces including Hazara. He questioned about the fate of that agreement. He said that the people of Hazara had given huge sacrifices for Pakistan, one could not find such examples in the history.
