QUETTA - Two settlers were wounded in a hand grenade attack in Dalbandin town of Chagai district, on Saturday.

According to sources, unidentified men hurled a hand grenade at a residence in Killi Baz Muhammad and fled from the scene. Resultantly, the grenade landed inside the house with a huge blast, wounding two persons who were identified as Muhammad Sulman and Muhammad Hanif.

Local law enforcement agencies rushed to the site and shifted the injured to nearby state-run hospital for medical treatment. Both injured were stated to be settlers. A case has been registered against unidentified people and further investigations were underway.
