The key stakeholders of manufacturing industry have stressed upon the need for making all-out collective efforts to bridging gap between manufacturing and compliance in Sialkot industries. TTI CEO Hamed K Lateef said this while addressing the participants of a seminar on “Understanding modern testing requirements and their relationship with product acceptability” held by the CPC-TTI here the other day. He gave a comprehensive outline of latest emerging modern testing requirements and changing scenario of product acceptability of competitive international market related with the gloves, leather, surgical and textile industries. On the occasion, SCCI President Sheikh Abdul Majid focused on the importance of partnership between CPC-TTI. Pakistan Gloves Manufacturers and Exporters Association (PGMEA) Chairman Khurram Azim Khan, Pakistan National Accreditation Council Director Atif Memon, All Pakistan Dry Ports Association Chairman Muhammad Ishaq Butt, Sialkot International Airport Limited-SIAL Chairman Ch Ashfaq Ahmed, Cleaner Production Center-CPC Project Manager Muhammad Atif, Sialkot Tanners President Sheikh Naveed Iqbal and more than 350 CEOs, directors and senior management associates from Sialkot attended the seminar.
