OUR STAFF REPORTER SARGODHA - The district police officer of Sargodha has dismissed Inspector Matta Muhammad for allegedly developing relations with criminals such as car lifters. Likewise, four other cops namely Sub-Inspector Amanullah, ASI Ahmed Ali, Head Constable Maqbool, Constable Ikramullah were censured while ASI Atta Muhammad and Constable Muhammad Atta were fined Rs 1,000 each because of dereliction of duties. PIGS INJURE POLICEMAN: A band of pigs attacked people and also injured a cop. However, the police have shot dead two of them while others vanished in the bushes on the Jail Road. The police official was on duty at the DIG Office while some others received petty blows because of stampede. People around the area rushed there while police gunned down one of the animals and other was killed in the Highway Office. The Punjab Emergency Service commonly known as Rescue 1122 reached there and cop Ashraf was shifted to a nearby hospital. HOSPITALS APPROVED: The federal government has approved kidney and cardiology hospitals in Sargodha, Federal Minister for Production Chaudhry Anwar Ali Cheema said. He added that each hospital will comprise 100 beds and the venue for these hospitals would be considered soon but the project would complete during the current year. He said that after the completion of both the hospitals, the people of Sargodha Division would acquire latest healthcare facilities in the division and they will not have to go to Islamabad, Lahore, Faisalabad and other cities. BUS PLUNGES INTO RAVINE: A fast-moving passengers bus plunged into a ravine on Sunday. The bus lost control due to speeding on theSargodha-Bhera Road. Resultantly, the 28 passengers onboard sustained injures. They were hospitalised. However, five of them are stated to be in critical condition.
