Our Staff Reporter BAHAWALPUR - Islamia University Bahawalpur Vice Chancellor Dr Muhammad Mukhtar has said that the future of the university is linked with the highly dynamic young faculty that will lead IUB in the contemporary world of knowledge and technology with distinction and glory. He was addressing the concluding session of the three day training workshop on Cascading of Ensuring Training Effectiveness organised by the IUB in collaboration with the Higher Education Commission. He lauded the efforts of the HEC for promoting training and development of the university teachers and praised the active participation of the delegates, the organizers and the resource persons from University of Malakand and University of Sargodha. The IUB VC appreciated the efforts of the Director General, Learning and Innovative Division, HEC, Ms Noor Amna Malik for successful running of this program throughout the country. The participants shared their learning experience during the workshop and termed it a highly effective and productive activity. They admired the efforts of the IUB and the HEC for imparting training to the university faculty and apprising them of their due and vital role as a teacher, who builds generations to take over responsibilities of nation building for its advancement to achieve dignity and honour among the fraternity of world nations. Later the VC distributed certificates and souvenirs among the organizers and participants. MPA, DCO, POLICE FOR ANTI-DENGUE AWARENESS: MPA Shahid Hussain Bhatti along with DCO M Asif and other officers visited different petrol pumps, CNG filling stations, business premises, bus and wagon stands and service stations to create awareness among them to take preventive measures against dengue virus. DSP Traffic Waseem Ahmad and traffic cops also launched campaign to create awareness among the public in this regard and distributed pamphlets at different places.
