Our Staff reporter HAFIZABAD - Activists of Sunni Tehreek (ST) and Ahle Sunnat Wal Jamaat (ASWJ) took out rallies separately to protest the death sentence awarded to Mumtaz Qadri by the Anti-Terrorist Court. Led by Usman Naqvi, President Sunni Tehrik and Badaruz Zaman Tarar, the activist chanted slogans against the rulers and condemned the death penalty awarded to Ghazi Mumtaz Qadri for killing a 'blasphemer. The protesters demanded the release of the Ghazi Mumtaz Qadri as the government had released US vagabond Raymond Davis on the behest of US imperialists. The protester also raised slogans against America for threatening Pakistan and called upon Muslim Ummah to get united to foil the evil designs of the US imperialists. The whole nation was united to safeguard the motherland against any aggression, they added. URS FROM 6TH: 'Urs of Sahibzada Syed Shabbir Hussain Shah will be held at Hafizabad in Masjid Al-Farooq on Vanike Road on September 6. One killed, 2 hurt accident: A young villager was killed on-the-spot while two others sustained injuries when a vehicle hit their bike near Sandhwan Tarar on Jalalpur-Hafizabad Road, about 12-km from here the other night.
