ISLAMABAD - Asian individual squash champion Aamir Atlas Khan has informed Pakistan Squash Federation (PSF) about his non-availability for the training camp established at Mushaf Ali Mir Squash Complex for the World Open Individual Squash Championship starting from October 26 in England.

Earlier, Aamir had informed the federation about his participation in the camp but he didn't bother to report the federation. He was supposed to join it this month.

Since Aamir has been getting training from his father Atlas Khan and private coach Faheem Gul, he was humiliated by low-ranked players. First, he was knocked out in the quarterfinals by Sheikh Saqib In DG Rangers and then he was beaten by Danish Atlas in the CAS Open semis. Now, he once again has decided to train on his own. But he should have set his ego aside and joined the PSF camp as it would help him in overcoming errors and helped him a great deal in Malaysia. But he had other ideas and it would be very difficult for him to show even ordinary performance there.

On the other hand, the federation should decide the events in which players want to take part as it will help the players and the federation in getting desired results, otherwise, the PSF, players and the country will continue to suffer and have to wait long for any major success.
