LAHORE - The Chief Minister XI was dismissed for a disappointing 90 runs against Chairman PCB XI on the first day of the three-day match played here at the Gaddafi Stadium to select the team for the series against South Africa.

After winning the toss and opting to bat first, Chief Minister XI seemed in trouble as the lost both of their openers for ducks. Only four batsmen managed to reach double figures with Sohaib Maqsood top scoring with 29. Faisal Iqbal was the other notable contributor who made 20. Zulfiqar Baber was the pick of the Chairman PCB XI bowlers as he grabbed six wickets with some accurate bowling and he as ably assisted by Ehsan Adil who managed to bag two wickets.
