We are indebted to the nation and it is time to return the loan we owe to the new generation for prosperity and progress of the motherland, said by Directorate of Staff Development (DSD) Project Director Ehsan Bhutta.

DSD Project Director Ehsan Bhutta was speaking at monthly but an outstanding meeting of Cluster Training and Support Centre heads of district Nankana Sahib here at District Training and Support Centre on Tuesday. DCO Dr Usman Ali Khan and DSD Regional Programme Manager Ejaz Ahmad Warraich attended the meeting while DTSC Head Waseem Ahmad Khan organised it.

On the occasion, DSD RPM Ejaz Ahmad Warraich explored the vision of continuous professional development framework. He revealed the long and short term objectives of CPD framework for the achievement of quality education at school level. He focused on the role of Cluster Training and Support Centre Heads for the execution of the revolutionary programme.

Addressing the participant DCO Dr Usman Ali Khan disclosed that ranking of district, tehsils, schools, head teachers, schoolteachers and were satisfactory but results of students via BISE and PEC did not reflect these achievements. The CM's Education Sector Road Map Indicators are being achieved very nicely in documents but annual results of education boards do not tally these accomplishments, he pointed out. He informed that 18 new buildings were provided to the shelterless schools along with other missing facilities for the attainment of objective set under the road map.

Later, Ehsan Bhutta while addressing the participants, directed all the DSD officers to monitor CPD framework through telephonic contact with head teachers, DTEs, CTSC Heads, TEs and DTSC Heads. He asserted that he accepted the challenge of CPD framework implementation in true sense across Punjab till 2015. He emphasized on the involvement of all stakeholders from Primary School Teacher to Program Director for better results. "We have removed the gap between the education department and DSD and washed out the demarcation line between them, he claimed, adding that a single travelling line was clear to run forward with single objective, i.e., outcomes and results of quality education through untiring efforts.

At the end an open question answer session was held for precision and transparency of CPD framework. DEO (SE) Khalid Akhtar Ch, DEO (EE/M) Rana Ehtisham Ahmad, DEO (EE/W) Shamim Akhtar, DTSC Head Wasim Ahmad Khan, CTSC Heads Ghulam Nabi Shakir, Javed Ashraf Shooka, Zafar Iqbal Wattoo, Zahid Pervez Khan, Malik Muhammad Iqbal, Mansoor Qureshi, Rai Najeebullah, Liaqat Jahan Ghazala, Gul Sheerin, Zulfiqar Ali, TEs - Rana Tariq, Sabir Ali and Sajid Ali took part in discussion effectively.
