KARACHI  - Canadian High Commissioner Greg Giokas has said that Pakistan and India could bring revolution in South Asia by cooperating in agriculture sector just like America and Canada had progressed in this sector by copying the same model.

He was addressing to a meeting hosted by Rashid Ahmed Siddiqui, Chairman Afeef Group.

President All Karachi Industrial Alliance, Mian Zahid Hussain and President KATI Syed Farukh Mazhar and Dr Mirza Ikhtiar Baig expressed their views on the occasion. Afeef Rashid, Sardar Yasin Malik, Bashir Jan Mohammad, Rafeeq Rangoonwala, Shujaat Ali Baig and others were also present. He said that Pakistan and India could bring revolution in the world by agriculture sector due to which standard of living of both the countries could be improved and poverty would be decreased.

Mian Zahid Hussain, President All Karachi Industrial Alliance, said that present government and Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif are trying their level best to improve the relations between the two countries and business community of both the countries are playing their role.

Rashid Ahmed Siddiqui, Chairman Afeef Group, has thanked Greg Giokas and said that Pakistan is playing its due role to improve its trade rations with India, America, Canada and European countries. He further said that Pakistan could implement automatic import license system, taking advantage of safeguard in SAFTA and WTO for developing agriculture sector.
