Jamaat-e-Islami will organised a human chain in Sialkot to express complete solidarity with the oppressed people of Occupied Jammu and Kashmir on the Kashmir Solidarity Day to be observed on February 5.

JI Azad Jammu and Kashmir Ameer Abdul Rasheed Turabi stated this while talking to newsmen here. All Parties Hurriyat Conference Secretary General Ghulam Muhammad Safi and local JI office-bearers were also present.

He said the sacrifices of thousands of Kashmiri martyrs would become fruitful and the sun of freedom of the Held valley from Indian yoke will rise soon.

He revealed that the peace could never be promoted in South Asia without solving the burning issue of Kashmir. They termed it the key to peace. He urged the Pakistan government to adopt a solid policy regarding the Kashmir dispute with India. He strongly criticised the imposition of curfew in Occupied Jammu & Kashmir, terming it a larger scale violation of human rights by the army. Turabi added that the sacrifices of hundreds of thousands of Kashmiris would soon become fruitful in shape of freedom as the issue has reached near its peaceful and amicable solution as per aspirations of the Kashmiri people.  The APHC secretary general expressed complete solidarity with the innocent and oppressed people of Kashmir and said that the early solution to the dispute had now become vital for ensuring sustainable peace in the Subcontinent as it had already become a flash point between the two nuclear neighbours. He expressed grave concern over the large scale human rights violation, custodial killings and genocide of Kashmiri people by the Occupant Indian Army in the Held Valley.

He said that these practices were enough to shake the conscience of the international community.

Addressing “Azam-e-Azadi-e-Kashmir Conference” at Sialkot, the Kashmiri leaders revealed that the freedom is the basic right of the people and nobody could deny this fact. They urged the world community to use its complete influence to globally pressure India for halting the larger scale human rights violations, custodial killings and genocide of the oppressed Kashmiri people by the Occupant Indian Army in the Occupied Jammu& Kashmir.
