SHEIKHUPURA -Leader of the Opposition in Punjab Assembly Mian Mehmoodur Rasheed while deploring the performance of Punjab government, declared that the rulers of the province had failed utterly to run the affairs.

He was addressing the PTI workers and office-bearers here at the residence of the party Tehsil President Mehar Ghous Muhammad in Housing Colony the other day.

He said that Punjab CM Shahbaz Sharif instead of take interest in the affairs of Punjab mostly spent his time in focusing on the central government issues. To a question, the PTI leader said that local government elections could be expected to be held either in April or May. “The LG elections should be held on biometric system to eliminate chances of any sort of rigging,” Mehmoodur Rasheed stressed.
