ISLAMABAD - KP Governor Sardar Mehtab Ahmed Khan provided little oxygen to the KP Ski Association (KPSA) by releasing Rs 800,000 to participate in the 2015 Winter Games at Naltar. This immediate relief has given fresh air to the ski players who, due to non-availability of funds to cater the immediate expenses, were left with no other option but to stay back at home. In the recent general body meeting held under SFP president Air Marshal Sohail Gul Khan, KPSA chief Matiullaha Khan informed the KPSA players could not take part in the 2015 ski competitions due to poor financial situation. On his request, the SFP chief has taken the issue with KP Governor who immediately donated Rs 0.8 million. Matiullah thanked KP Governor and SFP chief saying the funds would be utilized for ski promotion.
