SARGODHA (Online) Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has said that Punjab government is committed to root out the menace of terrorism from the province. Talking to the media men after expressing condolence with the relatives of Salim Akhtar who was killed in Data Darbar tragedy in his native village, he said statements like 'Punjabi Taliban from Interior Minister Rehman Malik could create differences among the provinces. He also stated that it is not the time to do political point scoring, but there is a dire need for unity in the nation. The Chief Minister said that terror attacks at Data Darbar were carried out by anti-state elements who wanted to destabilise the country, adding that attacks hurt the feelings of all the Muslims in the world. Shahbaz also announced the construction of Girls High School in the village of Shaheed Salim Akhtar, road and dispensary and also announced Rs3 million compensation for the family of martyred Salim.
