LAHORE Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has said enemies of peace want to destabilise the country through their despicable activities, but people will foil their nefarious designs with unity. Those who committed suicide attacks on a sacred place like Data Darbar are the enemies of Islam and humanity and they will definitely be punished in this life and hereafter, he observed, while talking to Members of National and Provincial Assemblies belonging to various districts, here on Saturday. MNAs Sardar Ayyaz Sadiq, Umer Sohail Zia Butt and Malik Ibrar and MPAs Shehzadi Umer Zadi Tiwana, Ramzan Siddique Bhatti, Mohsin Latif, Aajasum Sharif and Dr Saeed Elahi met the CM. Shahbaz Sharif said the incident of terrorism at the Mazar of great spiritual personality of the subcontinent Hazrat Data Gunj Bakhsh (RA) had not only saddened the people of Pakistan, but the devotees residing all over the world were also shocked over it. Killers of Muslims, who were offering prayers, are not human but are brutes, he opined, while condemned the incident in the strongest manner. He said no one could even imagine such act and any unfortunate person could only play with the lives of innocent people at the premises of shrine of a saint, who spread Islam in the subcontinent. People should not become impatience over this tragic incident and should foil the nefarious designs of the enemies by creating complete unity in their ranks. No stone will be left unturned for tracing out the culprits of incident of the Data Darbar and their patrons and the enemies of humanity will not escape punishment, he said, while adding that all segments of the society would have to play their effective role for the promotion of unity and religious harmony and, for this purpose, would have to become like a rock wall through unity in their ranks for foiling the nefarious designs of those forces engaged in destabilising the country.
