LAHORE -Renowned lawyer and former president LHCBA Justice (r) Nasira Javed Iqbal has said that ideological education to the youth was need of the hour, as it will ensure a safe future of the country. Addressing the students of Nazriati Summer School (NSS) at Aiwna-e-Karkunan Tehrik-e-Pakistan on Saturday, she urged the students to serve the country in future without indulging in sectarianism and prejudices. Vice Chairman Nazria Pakistan Trust Dr Rafique Ahmed, Shahid Rafique, Rafaqat Riaz and Prof Sarfraz Hussain Mirza were also present on the occasion. Nasira told the students that they were the future of the country and they would take it to the heights of development and progress. She expressed grief over the Data Darbar incident, which claimed the lives of innocent people and told the students that the suicide bombers were bringing disaster to the humanity and negating the teaching of Islam. She enlightened the students about the services of great mystics and Sufis for Islam. She said Islam spread throughout the world with teachings of love and peace and not with the sword. She informed the students about Pakistan Movement as well as the speeches of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah in which the Quaid stressed the need of faith, unity and discipline to serve the nation. She hoped that students of NSS would fulfil the dreams of Dr Allama Iqbal. The students also put questions on her on the occasion. The students of NSS on Saturday also visited museum, while the competition of pronunciation and Allama Iqbals verses was also held. Malaika Sabir and Rasman-ul-Haq won the awards of the students of the day.
