'More dams can overcome power crisis' About 50,000 MW electricity can be generated by constructing dams on the big and small rivers and lakes of the country as Pakistan is rich in natural resources. This was stated by President Pakistan Business Forum Samiullah Khan while talking to a gathering of the traders held on Saturday. He termed the recent raise in electricity tariff a further sheer burden over the masses, which were already facing the increasing dearness with great difficulties. He said there were many reservoirs of coal in Punjab, Sindh and Balochistan. and China had many time forwarded her cooperation of generating electricity by the reservoirs but it was out of senses that why our rulers were not paying their heed to this matter.
