RAWALPINDI - Police have arrested a pimp who was allegedly involved in hurling threats and blackmailing the female litigants visiting Rawalpindi courts by impersonating himself as a judge.

The accused was identified as Bisharat Mehmood, son of Maqsood Ahmed, a resident of Fateh Jang. Police obtained his three-day physical remand from a court of law and would present him again tomorrow (Thursday) for further proceeding.

According to Sub-Inspector Awais Akram, who is also investigation officer of the case, police registered a case against Bisharat on complaint of an ASI who was performing security duty at the main entry gate of courts on Jhelum Road.
