LAHORE - An Anti-terrorism court has granted the police five-day physical remand of six accused of lynching Christian couple for their alleged involvement in setting a copy of Holy Quran on fire last year in Kot Radha Kishan, District Kasur.

The court has directed police to produce accused again along with investigation report and adjourned the hearing till March 7.

On Nov 4, 2014, 24-year-old kiln worker, Shaama, and his 28-year-old husband, Shahzad, were burnt alive due to their alleged involvement in blasphemy of Holy Quran in Chak 59, Kot Radha Kishan, an area located in the outskirts of Kasur.
