Islamabad - International Police Association (Pakistan Chapter, Islamabad and KP regions) yesterday organised a seminar with main focus to share tips with police employees as how to avoid mental stress during performance of their hectic duties.

The seminar was attended by more than 500 policemen including high police officials of Islamabad police. Renowned psychiatrists Yasir Masood Afaq and Syeda Tasmeera from Mymacom also addressed the participants while health advice was given by Muhammad Asif from Brien Holden Vision.

SSP (Operations) Sajid Kiani urged the police officials to perform their duties with devotion and honesty which would give them inner satisfaction.

He said the real efforts by the policemen to serve the people with honesty would automatically reduce their tension and give them further strength. He also highlighted the manifesto of International Police Association and lauded the efforts of Islamabad police towards protection to the lives and property of the citizens. SSP (Security) Mir Vais Niaz also shared his views with the policemen as how performance could be made better through reducing work pressure.

Meanwhile, Islamabad police along with Pakistan Rangers and other security agencies nabbed 29 suspects during search operation in sector 1-11, fruit and vegetable market and other areas adjacent to it, a police spokesman said. According to details, officials of Islamabad police, Pak Rangers and other security agencies conducted search operation in various areas of sector I-11 and areas adjacent to it. During the search operation, police nabbed 105 suspects of which 76 were released after necessary verification and interrogation from them. The remaining 29 suspects have been arrested from whom investigation is being carried out. SSP Islamabad Sajid Kiani has appealed the citizens to remain vigilant and inform police in case of any suspicious activity around them.
