Rawalpindi - Prime Minister Mian Nawaz Sharif should come into the Parliament and show his assets, instead of doling out public money on advertisements and holding rallies in the country.

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has been in state of confusion and is trying to roll down the system. The rulers have no logical or moral reason to remain clinched with power corridor after hiding their assets from public as well as Parliament and they should immediately step down. Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) would continue its protest until resignation of PM Mian Nawaz Sharif.

These views were expressed by PTI North Punjab former Secretary General Zahid Hussain Kazmi while addressing a dinner he hosted in honour of party men here at his residence yesterday.

He was flanked by PTI leaders Sheikh Tariq Masood, Sabrina Javed, Malik Mehboob Elahi, Amir Nawaz Bhatti, Rana Khalil, Babu Idress, Muslim Shehzad Khan and Nasir Advocate. The charged workers of PTI chanted slogans “Go Nawaz Go” on the occasion.

Zahid Kazmi said that the PM Mian Nawaz Sharif should step down immediately and show his assets to public and tender apology from the nation for hiding billion of rupees in offshore companies. He said that the defiance on part of the PM could be harmful for democratic setup in the country.

He added that the countries ruled by honest leaders make progress in fields of education, health and industries but unfortunately the progress of Pakistan is being halted by corrupt and criminal rulers. Kazmi was of the view that on one hand the poor people were running from pillar to post to get a tablet in government-run hospitals while on the other the rulers go to foreign countries even for conducting ECG. “The national kitty is being spent by the corrupt rulers for their own luxuries. PTI will not accept this looting spree launched by PML-N and its gangsters,” he said.

The PTI leader said that the country is facing severe energy crisis whereas the minister for water and power has been fielded for character assassination of PTI chief and other political opponents. He said that the mammoth public gatherings of PTI in Islamabad and Lahore have proved that the masses want to see Imran Khan in power to put the country on track of progress.
