SIALKOT - PML-N Central leader and MNA Khawaja Muhammad Asif has said that the Punjab Chief Minister has shown the talented students the way of excellence to their lucid future by successfully launching revolutionary step of laptops distribution amongst brilliant students. "The laptop distribution is a marvellous and highly appreciative policy of the Punjab government, beside, being great regard, honour and acknowledgement of the talented students. He said that the political opponents should encourage the policy instead of trying to make it a point scoring game or making it a shameful matter of doing politics on the laptops issue.

Khawaja Asif stated this while addressing the participants of a ceremony held to distribute laptops amongst 591 students at Govt Postgraduate College for Women here on Monday.

Special Assistant to Punjab CM Mansha Ullah Butt, MPAs - Rana Shamim Ahmed Khan, Ch Muhammad Ikhlaq, Ch Jamil Ashraf Baryar, Naseem Nasir Khawaja, Sialkot DCO Zahid Saleem Gondal, DPO Afzaal Ahmed Kausar, District Bar Association (DBA) President Shahid Mir, Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) President Naeem Anwar Qureshi, Sialkot International Airport Limited (SIAL) Chairman Muhammad Hanif Khan, Markazi Anjuman-e-Tajran President Mehar Ghulam Mujtaba and College Principal Prof Nayyar Arshad were also present on the occasion.

Kh Asif said that it was now the prime obligation of the students to struggle hard for giving a bright future to the nation, besides, making it a prosperous and developed state as envisaged by founder of the nation Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah.

He asserted that distribution of laptops was the honour and great regards for the talented students not a point of doing politics, urging the political opponents to come forward to encourage the talent of the country. He said that the youths were the future and masons of the nation, which had ever been encouraged by the politicians and army dictators in the past.

On the occasion, College Principal Prof Nayyar Arshad thanked Kh Asif for getting awarded the university status to the college.

The ceremony began with the sweet tunes played by the musical bands and special contingent of the Punjab Police presented guard of honour to the talented students, who got laptops.
