PESHAWAR - Two men, one police and another Frontier Corps personnel, were injured when they opened fire on each other on Charsadda Road Peshawar on Monday.

Sources said that police personnel blocked the main Chrasadda road and refused to give way to vehicles. An FC personnel Gul Shad intervened in the matter and asked the traffic police to open the route immediately. They exchanged harsh words with each other, followed by the personnel’s opening fire. Resultantly, Gul Shad and traffic police personnel Amanullah got injured.

Both of them were rushed to Lady Reading Hospital, Peshawar, where they were provided with emergency medical treatment.

Meanwhile, two dead bodied packed in sacks were found in Phase-VII area of Hayatabad. The total number of dead bodies, found in such mishaps, has rose to 26 in the last month.

It is worth mentioning here that a few days back Peshawar High Court took suo moto notice of these kinds of incidents.
